This isn’t another online personal empowerment course. It’s an immersive, highly informative, interactive, creative cultural healing and empowerment movement designed to help women to not only authentically reconnect with one another but also to the true version of themselves.
Experiences are highly interactive and often refreshingly unconventional, combining ancient wisdom, modern neuroscience, ritual and storytelling.
We come together in coffee shops, tea houses, wine bars, homes, galleries, any venue that lights us up and in this shared ritual of sipping delectable elixirs (tea, coffee, wine or bubbly): our hearts and minds sync, reminding that we’re part of a larger interconnected web.
We read excerpts from inspiring books, learn and practice proven techniques for going the journey with more ease, reduced stress, increased flow and always sprinkle in plenty of metaphorical artmaking because pleasure and play are keys to intuitive and blissful living. Neuroscientists have proven creativity engages the right brain, sharpening intuition where true bliss lives! Right brain activity helps us bypass defense mechanisms and blocks which all too often keep us stuck in old stories and behaviors.
We lean into the idea that when you craft your hurts, disappointments and attachments into metaphorical art, presence has a way of appearing and we finally get to breathe.

Jennifer Showers, MSED
Author and transformational program expert with 35+ years notable accomplishment in the field of mind, body, spirit health is the creator of The Cosmic Seamstress model. Jennifer also knows firsthand what it means and how incredibly challenging it can be to shift from survive to thrive mode.
Living out of alignment began for Jennifer early, like most souls who strap on an Earth suit and learn the human script. Misalignment compounded over decades, surfacing fully by midlife, a journey she unpacks in her moving, unconventional and often humorous spiritual exploration and confessional memoir entitled, The Cosmic Seamstress (pending release).
At eleven, a single rupture shifted her view of the world forever. Following devastating family news, she sat by a Pennsylvania stream, grief consuming until her until breath became a gateway: a spontaneous gasp, a final exhale, and suddenly she was profoundly transported into a realm of pure peace and unthinkable incandescent color. Sounds amplified tenfold; the world shone brighter. There was no sign of negativity to be found; all of existence turned unimaginably blissful; everything just was. Out from what seemed nowhere, a steady, confident voice in the sound of her own, declared, “Your life will be filled with passion and purpose. One day you will write a book and it will be about your life.”
Jennifer likens this otherworldly experience to a vision quest such as that native peoples might explain as a spontaneous visit from spirit helpers or ancestors revealing the child’s strengths or future roles and is typically shared with elders who help that child interpret and honor its meaning.
During that brief transcendental experience, Jennifer was gifted with a sovereign knowing that everyone and everything is truly interconnected. This concept was far from a fit however to her upbringing, a more religious than spiritual household that mistranslated mystical for shame, so she buried the truth of who she really was for decades to follow.
Throughout young adulthood, Jennifer experienced a plentitude of blissful peaks, intuitive accomplishments while synchronicity often followed her as if she were a magnet yet she certainly experienced her fair share of challenge and darkness.
At last, as she reached middle age her soul simply refused to continue hiding its full truth: The authentic truth intuitively began to return in truly extraordinary and otherworldly ways, serendipities at every corner, unstoppable and brilliant, guiding her back to true energetic-alignment and the story she now tells.
Our Ancestors Understood the Value of Ritual, Gathering & Truth
Jennifer’s upbringing and culture did not afford her the opportunity to gather with elders to unpack the experience she had next to the Pennsylvania stream that day; This certainly contributed to a difficult road ahead.
Our ancestors got it, however. Vision quests, ritual mourning (group wailing), and communal ceremonies were not just quaint customs but instead survival technologies, intentional practices that held people through rupture and guided them into new roles. They noticed when left alone, the wounded tended to curl into survival however when held in ceremony, these individuals integrated losses and rediscovered balance. Around fire circles, stories braided memory into meaning; eyes met and truths followed, relationships were sewn, and wisdom moved between bodies like a slow, true heartbeat.
Sips & Sisterhood resurrects that ancient cerebral wiring: ritual, rhythm, and shared storytelling literally light neural pathways in our brains, building trust, deepening memory, and restoring our capacity to belong. These simple modern gatherings in inspiring places, over beloved elixirs recreate the container we’ve been starving for: a pause for presence, storytelling, and mutual tending.
